The Meaning of Meraki
Meraki is a Greek word that doesn't translate cleanly into English. The closest we have is: to do something with soul, with love, with a piece of yourself left behind in the doing.
We named the studio for the feeling we wanted every gift to carry.

In My Own Words
A few years ago, I sent a wedding gift through a well-known hamper company. It arrived in lacquer and gold. The bride sent a polite thank-you. And that was that.
But it haunted me, quietly. Because the bride was my closest friend of twenty years. And the gift, for all its packaging, had said nothing about that friendship at all.
I started The Meraki Edit so no gift would ever feel like a placeholder for a person again. So that the next time someone you love opens something you've sent - they feel met. Not impressed. Met.

The Way We Work
Every edit that leaves our studio is built around a person, not a price point. We ask questions before we send swatches. We hand-finish in small batches. We refuse anything that smells, looks, or feels generic - even if it costs us speed.
We are small on purpose. So your gift can be specific on purpose.

We have a sensibility, not a price tag. Our gifting begins at considered everyday price points and extends to deeply bespoke wedding and corporate edits. What stays constant is the intention behind every piece - not the figure on the invoice.
Our studio is based in India and we ship pan-India, with white-glove logistics for wedding, festive, and corporate orders. International gifting can be arranged on request.
Studio visits are by appointment, and we love hosting wedding and corporate gifting conversations in person. Write to us and we'll find a time that's calm enough to actually think together.
Every edit is curated in-house by our founder and a small studio team. We collaborate with Indian artisans, candle-makers, ceramicists, and small-batch producers - so what arrives in your box is genuinely uncommon.
